Hi, I am Aleksandar Dadic, though most people know me as Sascha. I recently graduated with a master's degree in Technical Mathematics from TU Wien, where I specialized in applied mathematics (including numerical mathematics, PDEs, modeling and simulation) as well as various computer science topics (such as machine learning). You can find my master's thesis at reposiTUm.
During my studies, I worked as a student assistant in the workgroup Numerics of PDEs and was actively involved in TUForMath for many years. I also did an exchange semester at FEP in Porto and completed interships at Accenture and Siemens.
In my spare time, I enjoy tinkering with tech, which is why my interests include programming, self-hosting, home automation and 3D printing. However, my nerdiness also extends to coffee brewing. While I keep myself fit with regular workouts and running, I prefer doing sports with others, especially badminton and tennis. Yet, what brings me the greatest joy in my life is going on trips with friends and exploring new places, particularly when it involves nature and hiking.
